Easy Tiger
A CONSORTIUM FOR CONCERT BAND
led by Nick Balla (Arkansas State University)
Easy Tiger, at its heart, is about patience—mostly, that I've never ever been a patient person. I always rejected that phrase that mentors tell us over and over: “you have time.” (Now, as a professor myself, I say this constantly!) Easy Tiger is a reflection of that hard-earned patience, a tightly-wound piece that gradually relaxes into itself—a piece that slowly recognizes that some things take time—and that that’s a feature, not a bug.
